Brilliant idea!
I have my darling, Maddox, and she is one of my favorite characters that I've carted to every site possible since she was created. I completely adore her, even though the last time I played her, she was a bit more of a tortured soul.
Fortunately, now, she hasn't had any strong tragedy in her life.
Her history is this: she basically was born and raised here in Washington. She's spent her whole life in Forks, though her parents sent her, and her brothers, to private school since she was in kindergarten. All through high school, she's worked at a music venue down in Port Angeles doing odd jobs - announcing bands, playing secretary, answering phones, running errands.
When she graduated high school, she went off to study business and music, because she loved working in a venue and wants to keep music in her life. She graduated from university and decided to come back to her hometown. She's very fond of Forks, after all.
She was offered a job booking bands to play at the venue she worked at all growing up, and took it in a heart beat. She loves it and it's conveniently located super close to her home. For now, she adores it. The schedule is wonderful, flexible and gives her plenty of time to sleep in and spend time with her dog, Cricket.
Here is my idea.
She's never really had a serious relationship with anyone. Perhaps she could stumble upon a boy, maybe in a local band, and has to work with him because he wants to book his band to play at the venue she works for. They end up developing a friendship, which eventually blossoms into something more romantic.
Just before they take any serious step towards becoming a real couple, he gets attacked and turned into a vampire.
Dun dun dun.
Considering he's a newborn vampire, now, he doesn't need to be around Maddox, for safety reasons, of course. But he really does care for her, in more ways than one, and even though he's a vampire, he knows deep down that he does love her.
Maddox wouldn't hear from him for awhile, more than likely, because of this change, and panics.
The plot could move along from there. It could literally be taken in any direction - he could abandon her forever, he could stumble upon her and almost kill her, he could end up deciding to turn her (for his own desire, or perhaps she ends up on her deathbed and it's her decision). The options are pretty open. We can even kill her, I suppose, if that's what works out nicely for a plot.
So what this requires is essentially a 23/24 year old male human that is in a band, or manages a band. I'm not insanely picky about who the pb is, but preferably not Josh Farro or anyone that is actually in Paramore. I have a tainted past with that. Don't ask.
Any takers?

My hero!
If anyone else has any other plot ideas, I'd love to hear those, too!
And, she has an open thread downtown if anyone wants to write a little for the sake of writing - not necessarily for the sake of having a long, drawn-out thread or plot.
